Terms of Service

1. Agreement and service

These Terms govern access to Ping My Teacher, a service that helps participating schools manage lessons, scheduling changes, approvals, attendance, billing, and related communications. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and school administration

Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and use only the organization and records they are authorized to access. School administrators control user access, permissions, student records, guardian contacts, scheduling rules, and financial configuration for their organization.

3. SMS terms

Messages may include available lesson times, add, cancel, or reschedule requests, teacher approval requests, confirmations, reminders, and service notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance, or email admin@pingmyteacher.com. After an opt-out, a final confirmation may be sent. A recipient who later wants to resume messages may reply START where supported or contact the participating school.

4. Scheduling decisions

Automated suggestions are based on available system records and may require confirmation from a guardian, teacher, or administrator. Users remain responsible for reviewing class times, locations, approvals, charges, payroll, and other records. The service is not an emergency communication channel.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, access another organization without authorization, interfere with security, send unlawful or unsolicited messages, upload harmful code, or use the service in violation of law, carrier rules, school policy, or another person's rights.

6. Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable service, but availability is not guaranteed and may be affected by maintenance or third-party providers. We may improve or modify features and will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects these Terms.

7. Financial records

Invoice, charge, attendance, and payroll features are administrative tools. Participating schools are responsible for reviewing outputs, setting policies, recording payments, handling taxes, and meeting legal, accounting, and employment obligations.

8. Disclaimer and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Ping My Teacher is not responsible for decisions made from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by users or participating organizations.
